On october, 13th in 2007,in the ancient sea village of one thousand white sailing ships, a new sailing ship marked by a huge red G comes to birth.

Sure, it was in Liguria, in Camogli, our looks staring the sea and hearts open to the life, in an autumn evening, sitting at a table in “la Camogliese” Restaurant, some thoughts some talks, some laugh and some word out of tune of four friends…and one idea born!.

It was the idea to run a small adventure, mixing love for sailing and their friendship, to join a sailing race for fun, but step by step, a new wish came up, the will to give a meaning, to put a mark on this adventure.

A kind of sailing “company” without any competitive willing, but humanitarian one, that is to tell a message, an important message, a way of living, when times get rough, and soul feels like poor and sad, you can find the way to help someone else…

So, G as symbol of gravity force, that among all forces of the nature, it s the one we know longer; gravity force is essential for our being, without i, our life won’t be the way we know.

In life, there’s always a point around which everything “runs”, and we simply woud like to push through this message, in the life you should believe in something.... life itself is the greatest gift we have and we gotta live it, without letting it flow away, and live it fully and deeply.

Not just words that begin by G, but all the words that in life are meaningful and representative:

Friendship

Family

Hope

So, on this basis, starting as joke, a wish to do something more came up... a meaningful and valuable project, that will be alive joining some events, to promote collection of money to kids…who can afford less than us..who need also our help…

Why did G-Team choose kids?

Because kids..., they are our future and most of the times, they are the most helpless and because...smile of kids and their lightning eyes never stop shining... never...

Why did G-Team choose sailing?

Because sailing is governed by a deep powerful mean, the wind and as the wind allows boats to get to far away places, at the same way, the wind of life allows to make real dreams, wishes, projects.. and wind of life never stop blowing inside each of us...never...

...so.. those are reasons of our choices.

Everything will be bases on simplicity and values, with some (a lot of) laugh of course, as God helps cheerful people :)

So, we would like to close this year, saying we did something, giving away some of our time, wishing to tell one day about this mad adventure, and being a bit proud of it. That’s it.

On the second Sunday of October, in trieste there ll be a really important historical sailing race, for the 40th time, Barcolana 2008. We would like to join this competition, as a natural ending of this adventure and after that, “sail” to beneficence companies, all we collected.

We would like to join Barcolana 2008, as the last boat to leave, as in life all can have a chance to change, grow up and close the gap…, never give up, you gotta believe!!!

This is our story, what will come next, we would like to write it with you, with your help, as many hands help each other, something good can being, something important can be built up, where tribe spits a river can born
